Thank you for your interest in our proposals for our new woodlands at Haugh Farm and Old Buckenham.

We have now carefully considered all the responses we received to our recent consultation. These have been summarised into a consultation report together with our response to the key issues raised and be viewed by clicking on the link below.

We will shortly be submitting our proposals for regulatory review by the Forestry Commission ahead of planting the new woodland. As our plans progress, we will update our website at  New woodlands at Old Buckenham and Haugh Farm | Forestry England

Overview

Forestry England would like to share with you draft plans for two new Coronation woodlands in Norfolk on land next to Haugh Farm near New Buckenham and on land near Old Buckenham.

Why your views matter

Your feedback, as well as site surveys, will help shape the design proposal for how each of the new woodlands could look.  Forestry England value your comments and feedback.  For those that would like to view the plans in person, please come along to our public consultation event  (see details below).

What happens next

The consultation will close at midnight on 11th August 2024. All responses will be summarised and included in a consultation report along with our response to the key issues raised and published on the consultation portal. Consultation feedback and further surveys will help shape the design proposal we will submit to the Forestry Commission for regulatory review ahead of planting the new woodland.
