Thanks for your interest in our proposals for a new woodland at North Carlton.
We have now carefully considered all the responses we received to our recent consultation . These have been summarised into a consultation report together with our response to the key issues raised and be viewed by clicking on the link below.
We will shortly be submitting our proposals for regulatory review by the Forestry Commission ahead of planting the new woodland. As our plans progress, we will update our website here

Why your views matter
Your feedback, as well as site surveys, will help shape the design proposal for how the new woodland could look. Forestry England value your comments and feedback. For those that would like to view the plans in person, we are holding a public consultation event on 19th March from 4pm to 7pm at Riseholme College, Showground Campus, Horncastle Lane, North Carlton, LN1 2ZR

What happens next
The consultation will close at midnight on 6th April 2025. All responses will be summarised and included in a consultation report along with our response to the key issues raised and published on the consultation portal. Consultation feedback and further surveys will help shape the design proposal we will submit to the Forestry Commission for regulatory review ahead of planting the new woodland.
