Thank you for your interest in our proposals for a new woodland at Haverah.
We have now carefully considered all the responses we received to our recent consultation. These have been summarised into a consultation report together with our response to the key issues raised and can be viewed by clicking on the link below.
We will shortly be submitting our proposals for regulatory review by the Forestry Commission ahead of planting the new woodland. As our plans progress, we will update our website at New woodland at Haverah | Forestry England

Why your views matter
Your feedback, as well as site surveys, has helped shape our plans showing how the new woodland could look. We value your comments and feedback. If you would like to view the proposals in person, please come along to our public consultation event at Beckwithshaw Village Hall, Thursday 18 July 2024.
What happens next
The consultation will close at midnight on Sunday 28th July 2024. All responses will be summarised and included in a consultation report along with our response to the key issues raised and published on the consultation portal. Consultation feedback and further surveys will help shape the design proposal we will submit to the Forestry Commission for regulatory review ahead of planting the new woodland.
