Future Forest - visitor survey

Overview

Future Forest has been commissioned to celebrate the centenary of the Forestry Commission in 2019. The Forestry Commission has worked with artists Tom Piper MBE and Lisa Wright on a dramatic sculptural installation for High Lodge in Thetford Forest.

Future Forest features ten life size figures based on classical theology, placed within the forest landscape, representing custodians of the past looking over our forests. The figures represent the vital role that trees and woodlands play in protecting our natural environment and our role as custodians of the future of trees and forests.
