Forestry England invites your feedback on our draft plans for a new woodland, Hagworthingham Wood, which we’re planning to create near the village of Hagworthingham in Lincolnshire.

Why your views matter

Your feedback, as well as site surveys, will help shape the design proposal for how the new woodland could look.  Forestry England value your comments and feedback.  For those that would like to view the plans in person, and speak to a member of our team, please come along to our public consultation event on 30th April 2026 from 4pm to 7pm at Stockwith Mill, Harrington Road, Hagworthingham, PE23 4N

What happens next

The consultation will close at midnight on 17th May 2026. All responses will be summarised and included in a consultation report along with our response to the key issues raised and published on the consultation portal. Consultation feedback and further surveys will help shape the design proposal we will submit to the Forestry Commission for regulatory review ahead of planting the new woodland.
